About Ear Molding
Many children are born with irregularly shaped or deformed ears. While some cases self-correct after about one week, others do not. Fortunately, there are a number of options available to effectively address this concern. Dr. Eric Payne, who is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a craniofacial surgeon, utilizes the latest infant ear molding techniques. If addressed early enough, the ear or ears may be gently reshaped over the course of a few weeks using a non-invasive ear-molding device called the EarWell™. To provide a better understanding of how the EarWell™ works, we have included a video below:

The right approach for your child will depend on his or her age and the type of ear deformity. In many instances, speedy treatment can achieve excellent results without the need for surgery. Not every child will be a candidate for the EarWell™; however, Dr. Payne can discuss alternative treatment options during your initial consultation in the event this technique is not suitable.

Billing and Payment Information
At our practice, you are protected against “balance billing” and “surprise billing” for emergency services. This means patients who require emergency care for an urgent or unexpected medical condition cannot be charged the difference between your in-network coverage and the cost of out-of-network services — a practice known as “balance billing.” You are also protected against “surprise billing” for emergencies, which refers to a bill received when you cannot control who is involved in your care and are unexpectedly treated by a provider who is outside your medical plan. For more information about your rights regarding payment and billing, please refer to the link below:
Additionally, patients who don’t have certain types of healthcare coverage are entitled to a Good Faith Estimate of treatment costs before any items and services are rendered. A Good Faith Estimate refers to the total anticipated costs of the treatment requested, including charges related to medical tests, prescriptions, etc. Learn more about your right to a Good Faith Estimate below:
